INTERNETGHANA provides fast access and reliable connectivity, using full state-of-the Art equipment. INTERNETGHANA’s Internet was originally routed via its satellite earth station at Adabraka and linked directly with the main Internet link in the U.S.A., Verestar Internet backbone. This provided an initial 2Mbps Broadband Internet access for the company’s clients. Currently INTERNETGHANA’s Internet Access is through our fibre backbone via SAT-3/WASC from Accra, Ghana to Sesimbra, Portugal connecting to Trans Atlantic Cables 12 and 13 (TAT 12/TAT 13) to Sprint POP in NYC, USA.

DataMATRIX Company Limited was formed in 1997 to provide WAN Communication solutions for WAN Backbone connectivity and value-added services. The National Communications Authority has duly registered the company for the deployment of DATA COMMUNICATION SERVICE NATIONWIDE. The company has since then, successfully built Ghana’s first fully Digital (end-to-end) Data Network based on ISDN protocols and TDM clear channel Data network that integrate, Wireless and Fibre Optics technologies.
WAY FORWARD
With the merger of the two companies (INTERNET GHANA & DATAMATRIX) almost complete under a single name INTERNETGHANA, the Board of Directors and Management of the two companies hope to achieve the following;

Integration and convergence of the two (2) technology platforms each of the companies brings to the merger
InternetGHANA, a unified Company with stronger financial position critical to InternetGHANA’s future vision as a Sub Regional Service Provider.
Diversified product profile targeted the convergence multimedia requirements of any enterprise.
