InternetGhana,
the pioneer in the ISP Industry has donated
computers to the Dzodze-Penyi Secondary School
(DZOSEC).
The
computers, which were donated by InternetGhana,
were presented to the Headmaster of Dzodze-Penyi
Secondary School, Mr. Ebenezer Atieku by the
Honourable Minister of Communications, Professor
Mike Oquaye. Also present at the presentation
was the president of the past students association
of the school (DZOSEC), Dr.
Emmanuel Srofenyoh.
The
minister stated among others that community
information centres would be set up in every
community to provide easy access to IT and
Internet services in rural communities, adding
that a Braille system for Internet for the
blind was inaugurated in the country three
months ago.
He also urged the students to utilize the
modern facilities provided, since it was unique
and also conformed to the current age of information
technology and applied knowledge.
